As a former high school and college football and track and field athlete, Ramone Ward has always had a love for sports. Graduating from Babylon High School in 1996, Ramone went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary, with a Minor in Child and Family Studies from Stony Brook University in 2001. In 2005, Ramone completed the Graduate Program at Dowling College, earning a Master of Science Degree in Special Education. Currently working as a Special Education Teacher with students with Autism, Ward recognized how important it is to uphold the integrity and respect that these sports portray to future generations.
Ward developed the idea of a Microphone Shield Device while watching football games. “I was inspired when I kept seeing NFL and college coaches holding their hands or play cards over their mouths so other teams or TV cameras could not read their lips,” stated Ward. |
